Bags of frozen mixed fruit are just as nutritious as fresh fruit – and sometimes even more so as the fruit is picked and frozen at peak ripeness. A bag of mixed berries or tropical fruits offers a variety of fruits that would be dauntingly expensive to buy as individual fruits or cartons and stays fresh in the freezer instead of going mouldy at the back of the fridge. Plus, the bags are super-handy. Just pop milk, yoghurt, or a plant-based milk plus a handful of frozen fruit in the blender to make refreshingly icy smoothies almost instantly – no chopping or peeling necessary!
