MUMMY SAUSAGES

Ready in 25 minutes plus chilling, makes 12

INGREDIENTS


12 chipolatas

250g puff pastry

1 egg beaten

1 tsp brown sauce

guacamole to serve


METHOD


1. Oil two baking sheets and set to one side. Roll out the pastry until quite thin and cut out 12 x 25cm long 1cm wide strips. Wrap a strip of pastry around one of the sausages to make it look like a mummy and place on the baking sheet.

2. Repeat with the remaining sausages and place on the baking sheet. Lightly brush with the egg wash and allow to chill for 30 minutes.

3. Preheat the oven to 190°C/170°C fan assisted/Gas 5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and risen. When coolenough to handle, dot eyes on to the ‘mummies’ using the brown sauce.
