TREACLE TART

Ready in 45 minutes plus cooling, serves 8


INGREDIENTS

200g plain flour

100g chilled butter, cubed

3 – 4 tbsp ice cold water

For the filling:

60g butter

400g golden syrup

15g black teacle

2 tbsp double cream

1 egg plus 1 yolk

zest 1/2 lemon plus 1 tbsp juice

150g fresh breadcrumbs


JAM ROLY-POLY

Ready in 1 hour 30 minutes, serves 8


INGREDIENTS

50g butter, cubed

250g self-raising flour

50g salt

125ml milk

2 tsp vanilla extract

100ml raspberry jam


CHOCOLATE MAGIC PUDDING

Ready in 50 minutes, serves 8 – 10


INGREDIENTS

250g self-raising flour

50g cocoa

1 tsp baking powder

150g caster sugar

100g milk chocolate, chopped

3 tbsp espresso, cooled

3 eggs, beaten

150ml milk

100g butter, melted

For the sauce:

200g soft brown sugar

25g cocoa powder

300ml boiling water

200g butter, softened

200g golden caster sugar

3 eggs, beaten

100g self-raising flour
