Marking its 25th anniversary, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring in Concert will return as one of the major live film events of the year with 200 musicians and singers on stage and an incredible 60 foot HD screen and a leading orchestra and choir for each date. Starting on the 29th of November in London and finishing on the 19th of December in Birmingham, The Concert brings one of cinema’s most beloved blockbuster films to the arena stage. The production pairs the full film with a live performance of composer Howard Shore’s Academy Award-winning score, performed by leading orchestras and choirs in each city.
The UK tour takes place across November and December, with both matinee and evening performances at each venue:
Sunday 29 November – London, The O2
Sunday 6 December – Glasgow, OVO Hydro
Saturday 12 December – Manchester, Co-op Live
Saturday 19 December – Birmingham, Pulse Live
The London performances at The O2 will be the largest staging of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring in Concert ever presented in the UK, while Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham will be experiencing the production for the first time.
